Alhaji Mohammed Abdulai is the driving force behind the Japan Medical Center - Ghana. With over 25 years’ professional experience in Japan, he founded JMC Ghana after witnessing the contrast between Japan’s advanced healthcare system and the limited medical services available in rural Ghana. His vision focuses on maternity and child health, and on removing the barriers of long travel distances and prohibitive costs that prevent rural families from accessing timely, and quality care. Alhaji Mohammed's passion is both professional and deeply personal, stemming from the loss of relatives and friends in rural Ghana due to inadequate medical care. Alhaji Mohammed is committed to delivering care that meets international standards while remaining compassionate and locally appropriate. Under his leadership, JMC Ghana aims to bridge healthcare gaps in underserved areas, offer sustainable services that strengthen local capacity, and give rural communities renewed hope for healthier futures.
